A Brief History of SEMDA
1996-1997 was an historic year as MOST (Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair Counties Dietetic Association) and DDA (Detroit Dietetic Association) completed their merger to form SEMDA (The Southeastern Michigan Dietetic Association). The district now includes Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, Monroe, and St. Clair Counties and is the largest district dietetic association in Michigan with over 300 members. SEMDA is affiliated with the Michigan Dietetic Association (MDA) and the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
